Fields of Faith

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) invited Charlie Hatchett out to their annual Fields of Faith event that took place in Uvalde, Texas. Students and parents from the community gathered together to hear a message of hope and encouragement from various speakers as well as students.

Charlie was also able to spend some time at the local middle school and high school where he spoke to students and even had a chance to work out with the football team!

About the event

His Story

After the tragic events that took place earlier this year in Uvalde, Charlie took the time to share a message of hope, healing, strength and courage with the families. While we know what happened was pure evil, but we know that we serve a mighty God who can heal the hearts of the broken.

7 on 7 Football Clinic

About the event

His Story

Charlie was able to share the story of his life by understanding that while he went through many hardships, looking back, he should have counted it all a joy in those moments regardless of the circumstances. He also encouraged the young men that while they may be football players, that is not WHO they are and that their worth isn't found in a sport, but in Christ alone.

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
